Here are a few tips to be USDOT compliant.

Your USDOT number must be at least 2 inches in height, but we recommend larger for same measure. Your US DOT number must be visible from a distance of at least 50 feet away.

Your USDOT number must contrast with the color of your vehicle. If you have a white truck, then we recommend a dark colored decal. 

Your USDOT number also must be displayed on both sides of your commercial vehicle. 

We also recommend displaying your MC, CA, KYU, GVW or any number that is applicable to you in a custom template.
